Think of seal-coating like layering on sunblock onto your asphalt pavement to protect it from UV rays, oxidation, moisture entering the tiny cracks, various oils and other chemicals, just like sunblock keeps your skin protected from harsh environmental elements and as does seal-coating and thus adding additional years to your black top if cared for routinely.

How often should you seal-coat your pavement?

That all depends on how much traffic flows through the area and what kind of weather is the pavement exposed to.  Ideally every few years is best. But, if you're not sure, contact us to evaluation your asphalt pavement and we can help advise what would be best for your space.
